The Louisville Forum has elected Tom Coffey as the organization’s new president. Coffey has served as a board member of The Louisville Forum since 2020. Coffey, an employment law attorney at Morgan Pottinger McGarvey, represents individuals who have been wrongfully terminated from work.
The Forum provides an arena for the discussion and analysis of important issues affecting the Louisville area. As an independent and nonprofit organization, the Forum brings together speakers each month who articulate specific and often opposing viewpoints. Forum panelists include a variety of community leaders discussing matters of public interest including public health, politics, environment, social justice and education. Membership is open to the public and guests are welcome at all Forum programs.
Coffey began his career as a prosecutor in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and then as a felony prosecutor in Louisville, where he served as Deputy Trials Division Chief under the Commonwealth Attorney. He joined Morgan Pottinger McGarvey in 2011.
