Attorney Tom Coffey is representing former Kentucky Department of Corrections Commissioner Jim Erwin, who says he was fired for refusing to dismiss two employees he believes weren’t afforded due process. Erwin was fired on Feb. 8, with no reason given for his dismissal. The lawsuit is seeking monetary damages and a jury trial.
