The Leadership Louisville Center has selected Morgan & Pottinger’s Mindy Sunderland to participate in its signature program. Sixty community leaders were selected for the 2019 class, which marks the 40th anniversary of Leadership Louisville. The program aims to educate experienced leaders about local issues, enhance their leadership skills and inspire them to influence change in Louisville.
“I’m honored and excited to be selected for the 2019 class,” said Sunderland. “I look forward to networking with a diverse group of leaders who are committed to driving positive change in the community.”
According to the organization’s website, Leadership Louisville is for established leaders with varied backgrounds who are ready to make a meaningful contribution to the region’s growth and success. Participants gain a deeper understanding of the people and issues shaping Louisville’s future.
Professionals interested in the 10-month program apply in the spring and are evaluated on prior Leadership Louisville Center program participation, education, career, community service, responses to essay questions and recommendations. The Leadership Louisville Center is one of the largest and most innovative community leadership organizations in the country.
