Mindy Sunderland has been elected chair of the Kentucky Bar Foundation’s IOLTA Board of Trustees. IOLTA (Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts) is a law-related public service program that strengthens the justice system.
IOLTA programs operate throughout the United States and Canada. They generate funds that are used to support legal aid, legal education for the public, and other activities that improve the quality of justice. Mindy was appointed to the Kentucky Bar Foundation’s IOLTA Board of Trustees in 2012 and elected treasurer in 2013 and chair in 2017. In her role, she will also serve on the Kentucky Bar Foundation Board.
Additionally, Mindy was reappointed chair of the Eastwood Fire Protection District Board of Trustees. The Eastwood Fire Protection District is a combination career/volunteer fire department located in eastern Jefferson County.
