Morgan & Pottinger is sponsoring a UK College of Law alumni reception at Vincenzo’s Italian Restaurant in Louisville on Thursday, March 3, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Eleven M&P attorneys are UK College of Law graduates and now practice from the firm’s offices in Louisville and Lexington. John McGarvey is an adjunct professor for the College, teaching a secured transactions class since 2002.
All UK College of Law graduates are invited to attend. Vincenzo’s is located at 150 South Fifth Street, Louisville.
The UK College of Law was founded in 1908 and has provided legal education to many of Kentucky’s leaders and outstanding lawyers. The College established the nation’s first law school trial practice program in 1913, and its Kentucky Law Journal is the tenth-oldest student-run law review in the nation. The College of Law has been approved by the American Bar Association since 1925 and was elected to Order of the Coif, the most prestigious national legal honorary society, in 1931.
