Coffey represents LMPD detective in civil complaint seeking damages for retaliation

Attorney Tom Coffey is representing LMPD Sex Crimes Unit Detective Jason Moseley who was demoted after disclosing a possible sexual assault by a fellow detective in the same unit. Moseley was contacted by a victim’s advocate with the Governor’s Human Trafficking Task Force who expressed her concern that Detective Kris Pedigo would be working human trafficking cases. Moseley was demoted back to the Eighth Division after sharing the information with his superiors. Moseley has filed a civil complaint seeking damages for retaliation. Pedigo remains in the Sex Crimes Unit.
