Mindy Sunderland joined WAVE 3’s Dawne Gee this week on WAVE Country to talk about one of her passions, Family Scholar House. Mindy has served on the Family Scholar House board since 2013. She believes deeply in the organization’s mission to end the cycle of poverty and transform the community by empowering families and youth to succeed in education and achieve life-long self-sufficiency. There are currently 267 families, 365 children and 32 foster alumni living on Family Scholar House’s five local campuses. Mindy encouraged viewers to learn more and get involved. Mindy visited the WAVE 3 studio along with her Leadership Louisville class.
