Louisville’s Fund for the Arts has accepted Charlie Otten into the NeXt Class of 2019. NeXt is a nationally recognized emerging leader program that prepares a new generation of arts leaders.
Over the course of the next 10 months, the NeXt class will delve into the heart of the arts community in Louisville, experience world-class arts events and behind-the-scenes access, network with high profile community leaders and learn where their skills are most needed. Participants will engage with local arts organizations on various projects that relate to collaborative initiatives, audience development, event management, program implementation, business operations, marketing and communications or philanthropy.
Fund for the Arts is a regional nonprofit with the mission to maximize the arts to drive economic development, education and quality of life. The Fund conducts one of the oldest united arts campaigns in the country and supports world-class institutions, community organizations and arts in education.
