Mindy Sunderland has been named to the Board of Directors of Family Scholar House and elected treasurer of the Kentucky Bar Foundation’s IOLTA Board of Trustees.
The Family Scholar House is a nonprofit organization based in Louisville, Ky. Its mission is to end the cycle of poverty by giving single-parent students the support they need to earn a four-year college degree. Mindy was recently named to the Board of Directors, and she serves on the Programs Committee.
IOLTA (Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts) is a law-related public service program that strengthens the justice system. IOLTA programs operate throughout the United States and Canada. They generate funds that are used to support legal aid, legal education for the public, and other activities that improve the quality of justice. Mindy was appointed to the Kentucky Bar Foundation’s IOLTA Board of Trustees in 2012 and elected treasurer in 2013.
